Maundz - Zero: MAY 25TH

The album artwork and track/guestlist for this monster of a release dropped over the weekend, but I was too incapasitated to do a write up on it; so here it is, the belated, half assed write up on an album that deserves so much more effort from me.

Maundz’s popularity has skyrocketed in the year since his debut album ‘Mr. Nobody’ - but I’m still not sure how to classify dude.
He could still easily fit in to the ‘Underground’ catagory, but every cunt seems to know who the fuck he is, and loves what he’s doing; so thanks, thanks for fucking me up and not knowing what to write right here.

On the real though, Maundz is easily one of, if not the hardest working MC in Melbourne, possibly even Australia at the moment - and it shows.

Classical debut album with replay quality - he’s got it on lock
Live shows that are like going on safari; wild - Uh, yep, tick that too.
Guest spots on some of the dopest albums in Oz over the last few - Yezzir
Gully as fuck abusive Facebook posts - You know it; possibly my favorite thing about the man

Check the tracklisting and guest appearances, I was going to tell you how dope it is, but it really speaks for itself:

“I’m young, I’m hungry, I want respect. I’ve worked extremely hard over the last ten years to try and carve out my own sound, and stand out from the rest. Coz I’m Maundz and nobody else is.” - Maundz
